3.3 Becoming Aware of the Self-Critical Voice

One of the biggest obstacles to self-compassion for most people is NOTICING when the mind is being overly critical. The way we get better at noticing that self-critical voice is to practice being aware of thoughts. The more you practice this the easier it gets during your everyday life to notice self-critical thoughts without having to be carried away by them.
